One hundred and twenty years after his death, Charles Darwin is hanging out in Malibu and drinking smoothies with a girl young enough to be his daughter. His is rudely disturbed when his old friend Thomas Huxley, the famous agnostic, washes up on the beach closely followed by Samuel Wilberforce, the Bishop of Oxford. Wilberforce thinks Malibu is purgatory and is determined to convert Darwin so he can finally get into heaven. These brilliant minds turn the world’s greatest debate into an enthralling comedy.
